Hi Piranhas Families,

Lots of exciting things coming up — read on for details!

🌞 SUMMER IS COMING TO ANDERSON POOL! If you've driven by lately, you may have noticed the signs — the tarps are off, the sun shades are up, and lifeguards are training. Anderson Pool is getting ready for summer, and so are we!

👕 SUMMER REGISTRATION – TIE-DYE DEADLINE: APRIL 30 Summer registration is open now! Sign up by April 30 and your swimmer is guaranteed a t-shirt to tie-dye at our May 17 event. Every swimmer receives a t-shirt and cap regardless of when they register, but the tie-dye shirts are guaranteed for those signed up by the deadline. Don't wait! Calendars are challenging, and we know that this deadline is before our parents meeting.  If you have any questions to help decide about registering, please send us a note.

🏊 PARENTS MEETING – THIS SUNDAY AT 5:00 PM Join us this Sunday in the community room at the Wheat Ridge Rec Center for our Summer Swim Team Information Meeting. We'll walk through everything you need to know about the summer season and answer any questions you have.

We'll also have a representative from Out of Breadth Sport on hand to help fit competitive swimsuits. A quick note on competitive suits: they're a bit different from recreational swimwear! They run snugger and are sized numerically (24, 26, 28, etc.) rather than by S/M/L or clothing sizes. Having an expert there to help takes the guesswork out of it. If your swimmer is in the first practice group, plan to stay a few extra minutes, get them out of the water, and head over to the community room. If you have an older swimmer who can go to the pool on their own, feel free to come straight to the meeting.

Do you know a family who isn't in spring training but has been curious about summer swim team? Invite them to come Sunday! It's a great opportunity to get their questions answered and learn more about what the Piranhas are all about.
