Piranhas News - Thursday May 22nd
Good Evening Piranhas Families!
As we head into the long weekend, hereβs your splash of summer swim updates!
Swimtopia Access
Log in to Swimtopia to sign up for meets and access key team features. Since you're getting this email, you're already in the system β just reset your password the first time you log in by selecting Forgot my Password.
Download the free Swimtopia App to manage entries on the go! Want extras like real-time results and tracking? Thereβs a paid tier for that too.
First Meet β May 31 5 Parks AT Anderson Pool
Even if your DPS swimmer hasnβt made a practice yet, everyone is encouraged to attend this first meet! Itβs a great chance for new swimmers to learn how things work β and youβll have a veteran buddy to cheer you on.
To sign up:
- Go to Meets and Events > Signup Calendar > Meet Entry: Meet 1 - 5P
- Confirm swimmer attendance - even if you are not participating. This will stop the reminders from us, telling you to sign up and help coaches plan.
- Select up to 3 individual events. Once you select three, to change your selection, you will have to unselect an event to pick something else.
- Indicate relay availability (relays = extra fun!)
- Leave coach a note if youβd like
- Hit SAVE. You can edit your entries until meets are locked the Wednesdays prior to the meet at 5 pm. After this, changes must be made by contacting the coach.
- Volunteer! A prompt will guide you to open roles

Bonus : Here is an attempt at a 2-minute video showing how to sign up for meets. Let us know if it is helpful.
Swim Suits
We hope to distribute the first batch on Friday, May 30. If not, or if your order was late, no worries β any suit is fine for the meet.
First Practice + Donut Friday!
- First practice: Tuesday, May 27 β canβt wait to see you at the pool!
- First Donut Friday: May 30
(Yes, itβs the kids' favorite!) We need people to volunteer to be a hero and bring donuts.
More Piranhas = More Fun!
We still have space for new swimmers!
